Job description

Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support project delivery on the Surface Transport Infrastructure Construction Framework. Working on NEC4 ECC contracts from £500k to £40m, you will oversee commercial management across all project stages, driving profitability and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare bills of quantities from drawings using a bespoke schedule of rates.
2. Manage call-off contracts and subcontracts, ensuring approvals and compliance.
3. Use TfL systems (A-Site) for contract administration: EWNs, NCEs, QUOs.
4. Oversee subcontractor management, payments, and reconciliations.
5. Submit and agree on monthly applications and final accounts with clients and supply chain.
6. Produce CVRs, forecasts, and cost reports.
7. Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in highways or infrastructure projects.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial management skills.
• Proficient in contract software and cost systems.
• Skilled in subcontractor administration, forecasting, and final accounts.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong communication and organizational abilities.

Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role.
