We are excited to offer opportunity for a Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAPS) to join our GCommunity Mental Health Recovery Services (CMHRS) Team. You will be working under supervision of a qualified psychologist and as part of a psychology team to providing evidence-based psychological interventions to people with a range of mental health conditions.
You will support and enhance the professional psychological care of people who use services by providing psychological assessments, treatments, and other types of clinical intervention appropriate to this level of training with individual clients/groups, under supervision. Conducting research and audit activity.
To maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the BPS Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and Trust Policies and Procedures. To act within the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act (2005). To be aware of and implement Safeguarding Adult and Child Protection Policies, Procedures, and legislation.
Work within the limits of professional boundaries and capacity and seek appropriate supervision when needed.
To carry out comprehensive psychological assessments and formulation, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions and consultations to support people with complex and chronic needs, under the supervision of a qualified Applied Psychologist.
