A healthcare organization in Chelmsford is seeking a motivated Near Patient Pharmacy Technician to join their pharmacy department. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, performing medication reconciliations, and answering patient queries. Applicants must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and possess relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Diploma. The role offers a salary of £31,049 per annum and is integral to enhancing patient care within a hospital setting.
Qualifikationen
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Current recognised ACT qualification is essential.
- Level 3 or 4 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent.
Aufgaben
- Dispense inpatient, outpatient and TTA (discharge) prescriptions.
- Final check clinically screened prescriptions before release.
- Hand out completed prescriptions with appropriate counselling.
- Perform ward based medication reconciliations.
