A leading battery technology company is looking for an Assembly and Testing Production Technician in Abingdon. This role involves supporting prototype battery production with a strong focus on safety and accuracy, requiring a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail. Ideal candidates will have a background in assembly or testing within a manufacturing environment. This position offers a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus benefits, including private healthcare and a company bonus.
Assembly and Testing Production Technician

The organisation welcomes applicants with experience in the paint industry, food production, printing, reel-to-reel processes, volume assembly, or any other high-speed manufacturing environment.
There are 3 positions available:
SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (OX14)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Assembly and Testing Production Technician supporting prototype battery cell assembly, electrode processes and test programmes. This hands‑on position suits someone organised with a strong eye for detail.
As an Assembly and Testing Production Technician you will work across assembly lines, dry‑room operations and laboratory testing, ensuring equipment is operated safely and accurately with full documentation and traceability.
The Assembly and Testing Production Technician will contribute to continuous improvement, resource planning and data reporting as the organisation scales its manufacturing capability.
