Job description
Vehicle Technician -Taunton

Our Client a Highly regarded service and repair facility in Mid-Somerset, are looking to recruit an energetic, knowledgable and friendly qualified Motor Vehicle Technician, preferably a highly skilled Mastertec with German and Volvo vehicle experience, who wants to be involved in building a specialist vehicle service centre.

Salary will be made up of a basic of £42,500 plus bonus to give an OTE of £50,000 plus and the opportunity to be involved in building a business that has the potential to be the best it the area.

Candidates need to have professional attitude and good technical knowledge, an ability to run diagnostics, resolve faults, suggest and make improvements, and work to efficiency/productivity targets set by the After-Sales Management.

Tosucceed in this role, you will be:
  • Appropriately qualified or time-served Motor Vehicle Technician.
  • A VOSA accredited MOT Tester would be a beneficial skill.
  • Knowledgeable and able to use modern diagnostic equipment
  • Experienced in working to efficiency targets
  • Capable of working to the highest quality standards
  • A Great team player with good communication skills
  • Able to Maintain high standards of house-keeping
  • Qualified Driver with full UK driving licence
