A banking financial institution in Sheffield is seeking a Full-time role for support in statutory accounts preparation. You will assist in managing audits and tax matters while gaining experience in the finance sector. Candidates should have an interest in qualifying as ACA and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. The position offers a salary up to £30,000 based on experience, with a hybrid work environment expected, attending the office two days a week.
Location: Sheffield / Hybrid Working
(Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
In this position you will provide support to the Financial Control Senior Manager and Managers in the preparation of statutory accounts for BBB Group. This will include month end preparation and being responsible for loan statements, drawdowns and distributions reconciliations, and preparing of statutory accounts for non‑audited subsidiaries
You will also provide support to the FC&G senior manager and managers in managing the audit of the BBB Group and its subsidiaries, and in managing the tax matters of the BBB Group and its subsidiaries.
With a current understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, you will be interested in achieving ACA qualified or be part qualified ACA with ambition to complete qualification. Experience in a banking finance function (or auditing of financial services), and of IFRS 9 accounting is also desirable.
