Job summary

A leading international company in the City of London is seeking a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have ACCA or CIMA qualifications and at least 3 to 5 years of PQE. Responsibilities include producing monthly and annual accounting reports for Special Purpose Companies, assisting with tax work, and coordinating financial audits. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years PQE required.
• Experience in analyzing Trial Balance Sheets and preparing financial statements.
• Extensive accounting experience.
• Good standard of education to at least A Level standard with Maths included.

Responsibilities

• Produce accounting reports of SPCs monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Assist in Corporate Income Tax return and prepare VAT return.
• Monitor journal entries and work of junior staff.
• Coordinate financial audits of SPCs.
• Manage accounts for designated business areas and reconcile data.

Verbal and written communication skills in English

IT skills using Excel, Word, SAP

Numerical and analytical skills

Problem-solving skills under time constraints

Education

Undergraduate or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Maths, Statistics, Business or Economics

Accountancy qualifications, i.e. ACCA, ACA or CIMA
