Overview

We are currently recruiting for a passionate, experienced Residential Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed children\'s residential care home in Maghull. The home supports children and young people with learning difficulties and has been rated "Good" by Ofsted on two consecutive inspections.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious organisation that has strong leadership in place and is actively expanding its services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with all relevant legislation and Ofsted requirements.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children with learning difficulties.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of care professionals to deliver person-centred care.
  • Work closely with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to support the individual needs and outcomes of each child.
  • Maintain up-to-date care plans, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and future growth of the service.
Qualifications
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - Children and Young People\'s Residential Management
  • Previous experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager in a children\'s residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and care planning.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with learning difficulties.
