The position requires strong planning and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to process improvements. Occasional travel (15-20%) is expected.

In this role you are an important GTC team member, a highly visible and strategic position that ensures adherence with International Trade Law and local regulations, improves operational efficiency and facilitates reduction of tariff and non-tariff barriers. The primary focus will be the Martillac location, but this position will also support another key site in France (Pringy) as well as other EU (as needed) with tactical and compliance activities.
By leveraging your expertise and collaborating with various cross‑functional teams, the Country Lead for France helps optimize trade compliance operations, enhance decision‑making, and mitigate risks. Your contributions are instrumental in shaping the future of our trade compliance function and supporting AbbVie's mission to improve the lives of individuals worldwide.
