A community college in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Nursing Faculty member to coordinate instructional activities and maintain the Nursing Program. This role focuses on collaboration with nursing staff and involves teaching various nursing courses. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Nursing and relevant teaching experience, along with a commitment to quality education. This is a full-time, fiscal year position reporting to the Dean of Health Sciences and assumes Nursing programmatic instructional activities for the needs and demands of the DSCC Nursing Department. This position has a focus for the Dyersburg State Community College Henry County Center; however, official workstation may change from campus and center dependent upon needs and demands of the Nursing Departments. Duties include working with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing and Nursing Faculty for coordination of student classroom and clinical field experiences. This position will have the responsibility of coordinating and maintaining the activities of the Nursing Program at the DSCC Henry County Center. This position is pending grant approval.
Sedentary: Desk work; travel will be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Minimal Hazard / Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
