Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Firmware and Software Developer at STRADOT's Toulouse location. The developer will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing firmware and other low-level software solutions for robotics applications, focusing on safety and high performance embedded systems. We are open to junior or experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in embedded C / C++ development for microcontrollers
• Knowledge of low-level hardware interfaces (e.g., SPI, UART, CAN)
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git), CI / CD pipelines, DevOps principles and Linux environments
• Ability to read and interpret logic schematics and work closely with hardware teams
• Experience with communication protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems across hardware and software
• Excellent documentation and code commenting habits
• Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented mindset
• Good level of oral and written English (required). French and / or Spanish are a plus
