Requirements

We seek a passionate Data Engineer with a diverse skill set, eager to work with Microservices & AI in our innovative environment. Collaborate with like-minded professionals, using the latest tools and technologies. Grow your expertise within our agile development ecosystem.

As a key team member, you will:

• Design and develop robust data pipelines powering analytics, machine learning, and product features.
• Build and improve Dataflows (ETL, Daemon, workers) and Data Storage.
• Create tools and automation for data pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Extend Data Warehouse and Data Lake to support data-driven decisions.
• Help build a data platform to democratize data access across Sidetrade.
• Ensure unit tests and code analysis (Sonar) are successful with sufficient coverage.
• Support secure design principles following information security standards.

You’ll have most of the following skills and experience:

• Master’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years’ experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience with Tableau, Talend, Elasticsearch, Kafka, GreenPlum, DBT.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and warehousing.
• Proficiency in data mining technologies.
• Knowledge of REST API.
• Experience developing and supporting automated, reliable data pipelines.
• Attention to detail to ensure data quality for analytics and ML.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps frameworks.
• Knowledge of data architecture, scalability, security, and compliance.
• Proficiency in French and English.
