We are looking for someone enthusiastic and ambitious to join our Pre‑Sales team to work with our Identity and Access Management portfolio. You will collaborate with the Workforce IAM sales team to respond to partner and customer needs, balancing soft skills with technical expertise, and working with other IAM Pre‑Sales consultants and product management to drive the Thales Workforce IAM portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Work with prospects to gather information on use‑cases, application environments and data flows to fully understand needs.

• Actively participate in the Proof‑of‑Concept phase of the sales engagement and provide hands‑on configuration or customization guidance to meet prospects’ requirements with Thales solutions.

• Engage with hundreds of 3rd‑party applications and solutions, requiring learning and adaptation as new integrations and APIs are encountered.

• Collaborate with internal teams to present solutions to both management (C‑level) and technical personnel, technically presenting and defending proposals to win business.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with Identity Protection, Authentication solutions or other Identity Management and Security products (Access management, single sign‑on, identity federation, etc.).
• Skilled at presenting to management and technical personnel with excellent verbal and objection‑handling skills.
• Experience authoring product‑focused technical documents (RFIs, RFPs, etc.).
• Understanding of cryptography concepts (PKI, digital signatures, certificates, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO, SmartCard and SmartCard/FIDO management systems). Awareness of Hardware Security Modules is advantageous.
• Other experience with Identity & Access Management solutions (trust and assurance, Identity Governance & Administration, Privileged Access Management) is welcome.
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Remote Access, VPN, Microsoft Certificate Services, AD Federation Services or other Federation Services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft EntraID, Microsoft365, Linux, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of APIs and their implementation.
• Familiarity with large enterprise structures and security needs (application, data, network security).
• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI DSS, PSD2 or eIDAS is beneficial.
• Hands‑on experience presenting solutions to small groups and large audiences.
• Experience working with Value Added Distributors or Value‑Added Resellers is a plus.
• Knowledge of other languages would be beneficial.
