Position Summary
The Packaging Project Manager provides project management for the client (dairy sector), coordinating efforts between the client and SGS&Co Teams.
First point of contact for the client's marketing teams in the coordination of packaging development projects.
Location : Boulogne-Billancourt at client premises

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results :
- Assist the client marketing team on packaging projects. Responsible for the development and execution of packaging ranges and color retouching.
- Be an expert of the graphic chain, execution of packaging in compliance with the applicable standards, guidelines, and printers' specifications. Be in charge of detecting and addressing anomalies within the files.
- Participate actively in technical meetings (launch of the range, contact with the printers, etc.), press passing, technical point of contact for proof management.
- Establish priorities based on project timelines. Provide the client and production team with clear visibility on the timing. Responsible for the On-time & On-quality delivery.
- Coordinate the color retouching and artwork production between SGS&Co team and client.
- Coordinate packaging production via job instructions and schedules to complete jobs.
- Drive continuous improvement pipeline for color process and ensure alignment with the global artwork process.
- Review proofs to ensure instructions were followed. Coordinate revisions if required.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s internal processes.
- Build and foster an excellent relationship with the client to ensure account retention and growth.
Skills & Experience
- Solid technical skills and knowledge of the graphic chain and packaging (artwork and reprography), printing processes (offset, flexo, rotogravure), proofing, and color management.
- Demonstrate and actively promote a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
This position requires the following knowledge and skills :
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Some College / Associate’s Degree preferred
- Equivalent of 2+ years of experience in the packaging industry. Ideally multidisciplinary experience.
- Operating knowledge of graphics software applications (i.e., Illustrator & Photoshop)
- French and English Proficient
