A pioneering space technology company in Verrières-le-Buisson is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to enhance its Engineering Team. The role involves designing and validating propulsion systems for small satellites while working under extreme space conditions. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong emphasis on CAD and CAE tools. This position requires transforming prototypes into scalable designs, ensuring systems meet high performance and reliability standards.
Founded in 2017, ThrustMe is a pioneering space technology company specializing in advanced propulsion systems for small satellites. We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of streamlined in-orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. Our clients across the US, Europe, and Asia trust us to design and deliver high-performance, precision-engineered propulsion systems that push technological boundaries while meeting demanding timelines and budgets. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems. Today, we are experiencing rapid growth, with over 300 systems ordered to date.
ThrustMe is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our Engineering Team, with strong skillsets on the entire engineering cycle, from conceptual design until qualification.
In this role, you will tackle challenging problems in the design and validation of propulsion systems, where components must deliver both high performance and reliability, while operating in the extreme space conditions.
You will be at the heart of our product development cycle performing rigorous cycles of design, simulation, and testing following the agile development method.
As part of the Engineering Team, you are going to be at the intersection of cutting-edge research and industrialization, transforming conceptual prototypes into flight-ready systems that will shape the future of space propulsion.
* We understand that no candidate is likely to meet every single requirement. If you’re excited about the opportunity and have most of the skills we're looking for, we encourage you to apply!
