Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metals producer looking to hire a HR manager to join the team in Iceland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all HR activities in the site, including employee relations, talent management, performance and develop the plant reward & recognitions strategy.
  • Directly manage 5 HR professionals to ensure strong team environment and company interests are put first.
  • Drive the collective negotiation agreement process and build union relations.
  • Liaise with leadership and advise on team building and development opportunities to drive company efficiency to a maximum.
  • Role reports to HR director.
Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in a HR or operations role in the industrial environment, ideally within the metal space.
  • Strong leadership skills required.
  • Experienced with the Icelandic Union law and regulations.
  • Fluency required in English and Icelandic.
  • Located or willing to relocate to Eastern Iceland.
