Airbus Helicopters is looking for an experienced NDT Engineer (m/f) to join our LMP Materials & Processes Laboratory based in Marignane, France. The role focuses on Ultrasound and/or Eddy Current Non-Destructive Testing within the NDT & Simulation Development department.
The Materials and Processes Laboratory supports engineering and production at all major stages of a helicopter’s development, and is responsible for research and development of new materials, production processes, simulation, and inspection methods. It provides continuous industrial support and service delivery.
The main missions of the NDT Development and Simulation department are the implementation of advanced and customized NDT solutions, definition of reference instructions, qualification, and associated technical support.

• Responsibility for reference standards in NDT (definition, inspection, qualification).
• Level 3 activities on selected NDT methods.
• Expertise and technical support for internal production and suppliers (non‑conformity range validation, etc.).
• Management of development projects for new NDT methods, including coordination, monitoring, budget planning, and communication.
• Validation of internal/external technical documentation (inspection procedures, qualifications, reports).
• Performing internal/external audits for the qualification and monitoring of NDT special processes.
• Execution and preparation of NDT methods training for internal and external customers.
Materials Engineer degree or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in NDT.
Level 3 certification in one or more NDT methods or a confirmed Level 2 certification.
Knowledge of aeronautical quality standards is a plus.
Good knowledge of production and service needs in terms of NDT.
NADCAP knowledge and personnel certification knowledge appreciated.
Qualification as an auditor appreciated.
