Description du poste

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for an Automation Engineer to join their new expansion project. Based in a charming location in France, this is a contractual position that involves significantly increasing the site's capacity for biologics manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Automation Technical Leads and actively participate in creating, reviewing, and approving project deliverables, such as design documents, configuration builds, FAT, installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
  2. Support the technical delivery of automation systems, including the site DCS, DeltaV, OEM control systems, and their integration with the site MES and Data Historian systems.
  3. Communicate and collaborate regularly with the project team and stakeholders, including system vendors.
  4. Participate in developing and implementing the site automation strategy for lifecycle support and optimisation of automation systems. Support the development of site procedures for system administration and maintenance. Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives for operational excellence.
  5. Ensure all design and project work complies with regulatory requirements.
  6. Act as a problem solver, focusing on achieving overall project goals.
  7. Work effectively within a team, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or the Life Sciences.
  2. Experience providing process control and information systems solutions and support within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
