Application Sales Engineer (f/m/d)
YOUR TASKS :


At this role you will be responsible to increase the sales growth through technical support to the Sales Team and be responsible for the development of Best in Class solutions for target customers. This position will offer customized solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients in a wide range of industries (Aerospace, Automotive, etc…)

  • Demand-oriented technical support for customers in day-to-day business (End customers and distributors)
  • Identification of customer needs to provide tailored solutions for specific applications
  • Customer-specific and demand-oriented implementation of project and components
  • Process optimisation of production processes at target customers
  • Technical consulting for projects in cooperation with the Sales Team and the project team.
  • Support for processes related to project/components at customers on site
  • Accompanying tool tests at the customer in collaboration with the sales team and the project team
  • Preparation of test reports with economic calculations and presentation of results in cooperation with the sales representative at the customer’s site
  • Optimization of special tools in collaboration with the project team and process managers
  • Point of reference after project completion in case of customer questions or complaints
  • On-site customer training and support for the technical training of the sales team
  • Implementation of new machining solutions
YOUR PROFILE :
  • Qualified technical degree with several years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry
  • High knowledge of mechanical machining and related experience in metal cutting
  • Being tenace, assertive and self-driving
  • Showing strong interpersonal, communication skills
  • Availability for national/international travel
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
