A leading global technology company is seeking a VAT and Supplier Income Recovery Manager in Madrid, Spain. The role involves leading a team focused on accurate VAT compliance while maximizing recovery opportunities for suppliers. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, experience with international VAT regulations, and proficiency in ERP systems like SAP. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential. English conversational skills are required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.

The VAT and Supplier Income Recovery Manager will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate VAT compliance and maximizing supplier income recovery opportunities for VCC suppliers. This role will oversee end-to-end processes related to VAT and Supplier Income supplier claims, and recovery audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
The position requires English conversational speaking skills, as the role requires recurrent engagement with stakeholders and suppliers to support them onsite, over the phone or by virtual meetings, as well as communication by email with suppliers and internal colleagues.
Manage and develop a team of 4 PTP Officers, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
Oversee VAT recovery processes and support the reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
Implement best practices and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in VAT and Supplier Income recovery workflows.
Collaborate with Finance, Commercial Teams, and Tax department to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess potential impacts on VAT and supplier recovery processes.
English, conversational level.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Tax invoices management experience is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
Strong knowledge of international VAT regulations and recovery audit practices.
