What are we looking for? We seek a Software Developer with extensive experience in building event-driven applications using Kafka. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in designing scalable, distributed systems and expertise in managing both relational and document-based databases.

Position details: 100% remote for candidates located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using C# and .NET.
2. Design and implement event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka.
3. Build and maintain resilient, reliable, and scalable distributed systems.
4. Ensure clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Mandatory requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Proven experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases (RDBMS) and document-based databases.
• Strong SQL skills for efficient data management and querying.
• Experience building and deploying distributed systems at scale.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
