We are looking for an expert to work as Data Scientist!

1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models tailored to retail-specific use cases such as:
2. Customer segmentation
3. Next Best Product (NBP) recommendation systems
4. High-resolution demand forecasting
5. Warehouse route and picking time optimization
6. Computer vision models (e.g., shelf scanning, footfall tracking)
7. AI agent development for customer service and internal automation
8. Translate business needs into data science problems and solutions.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data engineering, and domain experts to drive project success.
10. Ensure model robustness, scalability, and explainability, including monitoring model performance post-deployment.
11. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to establishing best practices in modeling and experimentation.

• 4-7 years of experience in applied machine learning and statistical modeling.
• Proven track record in retail-focused data science projects—preferably including segmentation, recommendation engines, inventory optimization, or computer vision applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.)
• ML Ops practices and frameworks
• SQL and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience with deploying models in production environments.
• Familiarity with CV techniques like object detection, pose estimation, or image classification is a plus.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning or generative AI methods is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex models and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
