Responsibilities

• Launch and expand the scrap steel trading unit from the London headquarters.
• Aggressively pursue margins on the desk to enhance profit and loss while scaling team size and revenue.
• Travel extensively to engage suppliers, end-users, and steel mills for sourcing and distributing ferrous scrap, leveraging price resilience and regional supply dynamics.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to structure physical trades and ensure seamless logistics amid evolving global shipping challenges.
• Monitor trends such as digital tracking for scrap quality assurance, demand for high-grade obsolete scrap from infrastructure demolitions, and the use of advanced data analytics for market forecasting.
