What is The Role

We are looking for a talented software engineer who can work collaboratively in a distributed environment. We hire low-ego engineers who know how to strike a balance between speed of delivery and maintainability. We love engineers who can engage in product discussions and aren't afraid to contribute ideas and critique features.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be building product enhancements for search components with contributions to Kibana, Search UI and other Elastic-maintained packages.
• You will collaborate with teammates in a mostly text-based, asynchronous, remote-first team environment with occasional video calls and yearly conferences.
• You’ll be hands-on with the team and codebase, reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.
• You will collaborate with the team on features, helping break them down into technical deliverables. You’ll act as an important and communicative part of an engaged and spirited team.
