About the role

We are looking for a proactive, people-focused, and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our HR team in Valencia. This role will be essential in ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding and training to performance support, communication, and conflict management. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR processes, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle and Onboarding
  • Manage the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and well-structured integration into the company.
  • Coordinate welcome sessions, documentation, introductions, and role-specific training plans.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new employees during their first months.
Training & Development
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver internal training programs aligned with business needs.
  • Oversee FUNDAE administration is a plus, ensuring compliance with training regulations and accurate management of subsidies.
  • Support managers in identifying training needs and building development plans.
Employee Relations & Communication
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with employees across teams and seniority levels.
  • Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employee queries.
  • Help foster an open, inclusive, and positive work environment.
Conflict & Performance Support
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts or employee concerns with discretion, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Support managers with performance discussions, documentation, and follow-up actions.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of employee data in HR systems.
  • Prepare HR reports, documentation, and metrics as needed.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR and People teams across SD Worx to align local processes with company standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in HR roles, ideally covering onboarding, training coordination, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of FUNDAE processes and training compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with employees and managers.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving orientation and ability to manage conflict constructively.
  • Solid organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Residence in the Valencia area.
  • Fluent in english
