Based in Asturias, Spain and reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the incumbent will be the Finance primary contact for administration, statutory accounting, tax and assist on certain legal requirements. The role will also require to and will make the connection between the businesses in several countries, the Business Service Center and any external stakeholders. He / she will be responsible for the overall accounting, reporting, compliance, preparation of local statutory accounts as well as tax accounting for various entities. He / she will also link with local authorities as required.
Maintains general ledgers and performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles. Provides management and financial The Analyst, Accountant will be an integral member of Controllership- APAC with responsibilities for APAC LEs. Key responsibilities include partnering with Finance team and External / Outsourced Service Provider(BPO) in various locations remotely to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements / company policies, coordinate the accurate and timely delivery of local and global financial statements, facilitate the effective running of finance related processes within the local organizations and involvement with country specific business initiatives / process improvement opportunities.
The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :
