A leading aerospace technology company in Spain is looking for an Electronic Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership across programs. At Clue Technologies, the Chief Engineer is responsible for providing end‑to‑end technical leadership and governance across programs. This role ensures the coherence, integrity, and technical excellence of engineering solutions from concept to certification, aligning them with business objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
As a senior technical authority, the Chief Engineer defines the program’s technical strategy and architecture, makes key engineering decisions, and provides oversight across all disciplines to ensure robust, certifiable, and high‑performing systems.
1. Provide comprehensive technical direction and leadership across all engineering domains.
2. Define and evolve the program’s technical and architectural roadmap in line with company strategy and customer needs.
3. Ensure alignment of all technical efforts with program objectives, schedule, and quality targets.
4. Mentor and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams, promoting excellence, collaboration, and adherence to best practices.
1. Lead and oversee system integration and end‑to‑end testing to verify compliance with functional, performance, and safety requirements.
2. Ensure validation activities meet customer, regulatory, and certification standards.
3. Coordinate and resolve complex technical issues affecting system‑level performance or compliance.
1. Serve as the final authority on major technical and architectural decisions, ensuring coherent and maintainable system designs.
2. Chair key design, integration, and review boards, maintaining systematic technical oversight and progress tracking.
3. Establish and enforce engineering standards, processes, and quality criteria to ensure technical integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
1. Act as the principal technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, regulatory bodies, and senior management.
2. Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable communication to support strategic decisions and customer confidence.
3. Support contract and proposal activities with credible technical inputs and risk assessments.
1. Ensure adherence to applicable standards and regulations (e.g., ARP4754A, DO‑178C, DO‑254, ARP4761).
2. Approve and monitor compliance and certification strategies, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and quality requirements are fully met.
3. Sponsor system safety and reliability assessments, promoting a proactive safety culture.
1. Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks affecting program delivery and performance.
2. Drive continuous improvement and innovation, exploring new technologies, methods, and processes that enhance competitiveness and efficiency.
