Overview

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation & Drug Product Development Technician (Devices) to join our team. As a key member of our formulation and drug product development laboratory, you will be responsible for executing various activities related to biologic molecules, including lead chemical and physical analyses, analytical support, and prioritizing tasks to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to diverse projects for wide range of biosimilar biomolecules, including antibodies and non-antibodies.
• Evaluate drug product and device development activities, assist with fill & finish activities, and conduct laboratory tests in accordance with GLP, cGMP, and SOP standards.
• Analyse candidates for biological drugs, particularly but not limited to CCIT flow, cam stoppering & assembly machine, microscope, FTIR rheometer, UTT machine.
• Identify technical challenges, trouble-shoot instrument problems, suggest areas for improvement, prepare study protocols, SOPs, and technical reports timely and efficiently.

Requirements and Personal Skills

• Education: PhD or Bachelor degree in relevant biochemistry / chemistry specialty.
• Languages: Fluent Spanish and English, knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Experience: 3 – 5 years of drug product, device, and analytical experience relevant to the role, working with biologics, pharmaceuticals, and biotech environments.
