A multinational company is seeking an experienced employment law advisor to ensure compliance with local regulations in Spain and Italy. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Law or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in labour law, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Spanish and Italian. The role involves advising HR, drafting contracts, and conducting legal training sessions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment law matters across Spain, Italy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and internal procedures in line with local legislation.
• Support HR teams and management on employee relations, disciplinary actions, terminations.
• Monitor changes in labour laws and proactively communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on cross-border employment issues, expatriation, and international assignments.
• Conduct legal risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Deliver training and workshops on employment law topics to HR and management teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, or related field
• 5 years’ experience in labour law, with a strong focus on Spain, Italy
• Proven track record in handling employment law cases and providing practical legal advice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.
• Languages: Spanish (C2 level), Italian (C2 level), English (conversational level)
• Well-versed in AI today, mastering different tools and generative AI, and a strong interest in learning even more about this subject
