Atmen Solutions GmbH is seeking a Go-to-Market Lead / Head of Sales in Madrid to spearhead revenue generation for a pioneering RegTech startup. This role involves crafting sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with product and marketing teams to drive high-impact sales processes. Ideal candidates will have extensive B2B sales experience, a proven record of closing complex deals, and excellent communication skills. Atmen is a RegTech startup revolutionising green certification. Our SaaS platform helps energy-intensive industries (fuels, chemicals, materials) automate compliance and certification —cutting down time by up to 90% .

We replace today's manual, costly, and unpredictable certification processes with continuous, technology-driven verification . Our mission? Making sustainable production simple, scalable, and cost-effective.

Note on location : We’re based in Munich, but are currently also expanding to Madrid , where we’re setting up a new office - candidates there are very welcome to apply!

As Go-to-Market Lead / Head of Sales , you will build and scale the revenue engine of a category-defining climate tech company. Working directly with the CEO and working closely with our product, marketing, and regulatory teams, you will own the sales strategy and lead the execution—from refining ICPs to closing deals with producers, traders, and certifiers of sustainable fuels and energy-intensive goods.

You will be both strategist and practitioner, designing our go-to-market playbook while managing early-stage customer relationships and leading them through the full commercial cycle.

Tasks

  • Design and execute Atmen’s sales strategy across segments and geographies
  • Own the full customer funnel : from qualified lead to signed customer
  • Define and refine ICPs, outreach messaging, and value proposition
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with GTM objectives
  • Qualify and close strategic deals in coordination with the CEO (NB : this isn’t just a “head of” role - Atmen’s Commercial Lead gets to spend time with customers and in Hubspot)
  • Build scalable processes : CRM hygiene, forecasting, reporting
  • Act as voice of customer internally to inform product development
  • Lay the foundation for future sales hires and team structure
  • Represent Atmen at industry events and in key customer interactions

Requirements

We’re looking for a smart, ambitious commercial leader who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and can build strong relationships in complex B2B environments.

You may be a fit if you bring :

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, BD, or GTM roles in SaaS, energy, or compliance-focused sectors
  • A track record of closing high-value or complex deals (ideally in regulated or technical environments)
  • Ability to design and influence sales processes, not just execute them
  • Confidence in leading customer conversations with technical or C-level stakeholders
  • Curiosity and empathy to understand a customer’s real pain points - and particularly : love for industrial B2B customers (yes, for better and worse!)
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in English (German, French, Spanish are a plus)
  • A personal drive to contribute to climate solutions and industrial decarbonization
