Overview

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships. You will manage high-performing sales teams and ensure the achievement of ambitious sales targets. This is a strategic and hands-on role, requiring leadership, sales expertise, and business acumen to deliver results in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Opportunity: Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance.
  • High-Performance Culture: Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Talent Management: Recruit, onboard, and train top-tier sales talent.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive new business acquisition while managing and expanding existing key accounts.
  • Relationships & Negotiation: Develop strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers; lead complex sales negotiations and close high-value deals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales strategies.
  • Insights & Reporting: Provide insights on market trends, competition, and customer needs; present sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
Skills & Attributes
  • Fluent German and English
  • Experience: 10+ years in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in consumer electronics, consumer goods or FMCG
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding multi-million-pound revenue targets
