Job description
Mission

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale‑and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo‑internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Tasks
  • Define and align with internal stakeholders / customers an integration / branching strategy
  • Validate interactions between software components and interfaces as integration verification
  • Identify integration issues and coordinate cross‑functional resolution
  • Execute IVI software integration with internal and 3rd‑party responsible
  • Lead integration experience and knowledge of IVI features
  • Develop and maintain build system with Cmake / Bazel or etc
  • Establish automation frameworks using Python, G‑suite and / or automation environment
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and verification automation test
  • Utilize industry standard tools (Vector CANoe / CANalyzer, Wireshark, DLT)
  • Lead a technical team, manage priorities, and foster a collaborative work environment with multi‑location and remotely manage the team
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to customers, management, and development teams
Qualifications
  • Several years experience of software integration in automotive electronics
  • At least 2 recent SOP experience not older than 5 years
  • Deep hands‑on of IVI features and multi‑ECU systems
  • Android Automotive OS, Android Open Source Project, and Android platform integration
  • Proficiency with automotive integration and analysis tools
  • Experience with vehicle networks and protocol integration
  • Understanding of infotainment system architectures
  • Knowledge of ISO26262 and ASPICE / HIS standards
  • C++ higher than Ver11
  • Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration abilities and exceptional communication skills
  • Analytical problem‑solving approach in complex system environments
