Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team in Frankfurt, Germany.

This role will be with the site team working on an important project within the Pharma Construction sector, in the Frankfurt region.

Responsibilities

• Manage the roll-out of externally designed behavioral safety programs on site
• Advise on health and safety matters related to project work on site
• Ensure project safety compliance regarding both execution and documentation
• Design health, safety, and environmental best practices into each project and ensure all work is completed safely and environmentally responsibly
• Monitor contractors associated with project work
• Attend and report at site EHS meetings
• Develop and implement safe systems of work, including procedures/methods for all areas
• Carry out site safety audits
• Conduct task, equipment, and process safety risk assessments
• Provide relevant training to staff as required
• Maintain records of monthly toolbox talks and ERT team activities
• Perform other duties as requested by the Health and Safety Manager

Qualifications

• An engineering degree qualification
• Fluent in German and English (written and oral)
• Full understanding of all German EHS legislation
• Proactive attitude
• Problem solver and team player
