SQL DBA with LifePro with Life Insurance - Domain Remote
Zusammenfassung
A healthcare company is seeking a skilled SQL DBA with over 10 years of experience in SQL Server management and Life Insurance domain expertise. The candidate will work remotely, focusing on database management, troubleshooting, and collaboration with development teams. Strong skills in T-SQL, backups, and high availability are essential. A BS/BA degree in a relevant technical field is also required.
Qualifikationen
- 10+ years SQL Server DBA working experience.
- Knowledgeable in SQL Server versions 2005, 2008, and 2012.
- Experience with database data management, backups, and ETL.
Aufgaben
- Manage SQL Server databases and perform diagnostics.
- Implement database replication and mirroring.
- Work with teams on database design and enhancements.

SQL DBA with LifePro with Life Insurance - Domain Remote
NOTE – Experience with Life Insurance domain is MUST with LifePro experience.
- Must have 10+ years SQL Server DBA working experience with SQL Server.
- Must be knowledgeable and experienced on the different versions of SQL Server (2005, 2008). Knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and possible benefits to the existing environments.
- Must have skills and experience in Database data management – backups, ETL, and archive using either native SQL Server backup tools.
- Experienced using internal diagnostic and maintenance tools such as DBCC and internal SP functions as well as SQLDiag, SQL Profiler and third party diagnostics tools.
- Demonstrate Knowledge of Partitioning Architecture.
- Management of multiple processing schedules and notification strategies.
- Strong skills in T-SQL, DOS, PowerShell, tuning and debugging. Experience with SQL Server Manager, Visual Studio, DTS/SSIS and other SQL Server tools including but not limited to Profiler & SQL Server Command Line Utilities.
- Experience with SQL Server database replication and mirroring.
- Experienced in security/access strategies for a wide pool of user groups and developers with different access requirements.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and short deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize heavy workload with minimum supervision.
- Highly adaptable with ability to work in a fast paced demanding environment.
- Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with development and infrastructure teams in doing database design, changes and enhancement to new and existing applications.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions.
- Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or higher certificates on SQL Server 2005, 2005, 2012.
- Experience in data modeling and metadata management.
BS/BA degree in a related technical discipline.
