E.ON is leading the way in the energy transition - and our Finance Strategy & Transformation department is supporting the global Finance organization to enable this transformation with efficient, digital, and scalable processes based on a clear Target Picture and Roadmap. As VP Finance Strategy, you will play a key role in the development and strategic direction of our global finance organization. You will lead the Finance Strategy team and be responsible for the development, communication, and steering of the respective implementation.

• Development of an ambitious target picture and strategy for the global finance organization shaping the role of finance : business focused, performance oriented, digital, efficient.
• Translation of strategy into actionable projects and management of the transformation roadmap in close collaboration with the Finance Transformation Project Team as well as the central finance functions or local teams.
• Responsibility for the conceptual design and management of the finance transformation program, including program management.
• Establishment of KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure progress and manage the transformation groupwide.
• Identification of best practices, benchmarks, and innovative technologies for the continuous development of the finance function.
• Effective communication about the Finance Strategy and its progress to all stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the transformation process.
• Close collaboration with CFOs, global finance leads, and other key departments to ensure successful finance transformation.

A background that convinces us

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration Strategic Management or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in global finance organizations or project management environments; consultancy background in finance transformation is highly beneficial
• Experience in leading successful transitions within international organizations with a proven track record in managing impactful projects with management attention and a high level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
• In-depth knowledge of finance processes and their digitalization and automation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with senior management as well as operational teams to drive change; proven skills for stakeholder alignment and problem solving
• Characterized by a high ability to professionally deal with conflicts and show the respective stamina and have very good presentation skills
• Proven leadership experience is a prerequisite, especially in building high-performing teams and developing their employees.
• Fluent in English and German
• Willingness to travel while enjoying our flexible work concepts
