The Opportunity
This role is based at our Wiesbaden site within Abbott Diabetes Care. We focus on helping people with diabetes manage their health with innovative products that provide accurate data for better decisions. We are revolutionizing glucose monitoring with new sensing technology.
The successful candidate will oversee the Commercial Excellence team, enabling data-driven business decisions through advanced analytics, AI, and modeling. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead a team of skilled managers and analysts to drive business success.
Your Tasks:
- Ensure compliance with quality system requirements.
- Develop and lead an agile organization providing analytics and insights to support commercial initiatives, considering compliance, GDPR, and IT policies.
- Plan and manage strategic projects, including resources, communication, deadlines, and budgets.
- Implement AA/AI approaches to optimize workflows and outcomes.
- Understand and support webshop-based B2C processes and connect data to patient journeys.
- Establish efficient processes for request management and transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure process and project performance.
- Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Drive automation and integration of information management.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand relevant segments.
- Execute projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely delivery.
Your Qualification:
- Master’s degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field
- 6-8 years of experience in data or project management, with skills in programming languages such as VBA, DAX, PL/SQL, Python, or R
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI (preferred)
- Relational database experience (MSSQL, Oracle)
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Access, Excel)
- Action-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- People management experience
- Holistic and forward-looking approach
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Active listening and relationship-building skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and organized with strategic planning abilities
