Wir suchen eine Junior-Laborant:in für EEG-Aufzeichnungen zur Verstärkung unseres wissenschaftlichen Teams in Berlin. Das EEG-Datenerfassungsteam bildet das Rückgrat unseres NAFAS-Projekts, das die Aufzeichnung einer großen Anzahl von EEG-Datensätzen unter Verwendung modernster experimenteller Protokolle umfasst. Die erfolgreiche Kandidat:in wird für die Erfassung qualitativ hochwertiger, hochauflösender EEG-Daten und anderer Biosignale verantwortlich sein. Die Experimente werden mithilfe moderner kommerzieller Biosignalverstärker durchgeführt. Die erfolgreiche Kandidat:in wird durch interne Schulungen umfassend ausgebildet, um sich als Experten für die Erfassung von EEG-Daten weiterzuentwickeln.

Die Stelle wird auf Vollzeitbasis (40 Stunden/Woche) angeboten. Anwesenheit vor Ort im Labor ist erforderlich; Remote-Arbeit ist nicht möglich.

• Rekrutieren von Teilnehmern aus verschiedenen demografischen Gruppen
• Vorbereitung und Überwachung von Experimenten, um sicherzustellen, dass die Probanden den Anweisungen folgen und die Signalqualität einwandfrei ist
• Überwachen von Biosignaldaten während der Datenerfassung zur Qualitätssicherung
• Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Dokumentation hochwertiger EEG-Datenerfassungen
• Zusammenarbeit mit Neurowissenschaftlern zur Optimierung der Sensorplatzierung und anderer technischer Aspekte der Datenerfassung
• Bewertung und Durchführung von EEG-Datenerfassungsprotokollen
• Schulung und/oder Koordination von Hilfskräften bei der Datenerfassung
• Verwaltung des Laborinventars

• Abgeschlossene medizinisch-technische Ausbildung (z. B. MTA, BTA, MTLA/MTL) oder ein abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium in einem relevanten Bereich (z. B. Neurowissenschaften, Biomedizin, Psychologie)
• Fließende und exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch
• Eine gültige Aufenthalts- und Arbeitserlaubnis für Deutschland
• Fähigkeit zur Zusammenarbeit im Team
• Detailgenauigkeit und ein hoher Anspruch an Genauigkeit und Qualität
• Hervorragende organisatorische Fähigkeiten
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Sozialkompetenz
• Erfahrung in der EEG-Datenerfassung mit modernen Biosignalverstärkern und Elektrodensystemen ist von Vorteil

We are looking for a Junior Laboratory Technician for EEG recordings to join our scientific team in Berlin. The EEG data acquisition team forms the backbone of our NAFAS project, which involves recording a large number of EEG datasets using state-of-the-art experimental protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring high-quality, high-resolution EEG data and other biosignals. Experiments will be conducted using modern commercial biosignal amplifiers. Responsibilities include preparing and conducting experiments, monitoring participants during recordings, and recruiting study participants. Comprehensive in-house training will be provided to develop the successful candidate into an expert in EEG data collection.

The position is offered on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) and requires on-site presence in the laboratory; remote work is not possible.

• Recruiting participants from diverse demographic groups
• Preparing and monitoring experiments to ensure excellent signal quality and that participants follow instructions
• Monitoring biosignal data during data acquisition for quality assurancePreparing, conducting, and documenting high-quality EEG data acquisition
• Collaborating with neuroscientists to optimize sensor placement and other technical aspects of data acquisition
• Evaluating and executing EEG data acquisition protocols
• Training and/or coordinating data acquisition support staff
• Managing laboratory inventory

• Completed vocational training in a medical-technical field (e.g. MTA, BTA, MTLA/MTL or equivalent) or a completed bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. neuroscience, biomedicine, psychology)
• Fluent and excellent communication skills in German and English
• A valid residence and work permit for Germany
• Ability to work in a team
• Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy and quality
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication and social skills
• Experience in EEG data acquisition with modern biosignal amplifiers and electrode systems is a plus
• Basic understanding of EEG principles and data protection regulations is a plus
