A pioneering energy technology company in Munich is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop and qualify advanced welding techniques for their Alpha Stellarator fusion prototype. This role requires experience in high-precision welding applications and strong knowledge of welding metallurgy. You will play a key role in shaping materials and processes, collaborating with design teams, and ensuring optimal weld joint performance. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and be fluent in English, with German being a plus.

As a Welding Engineer at Proxima Fusion, you will play a pivotal role in developing and qualifying advanced welding techniques for the Alpha Stellarator -our first integrated fusion prototype. Your work will directly shape the materials and joining processes that enable the extreme precision and performance our fusion hardware demands.
You will be the technical expert in welding processes, metallurgy, and material behavior, helping us build a new class of scientific and industrial machinery from the ground up.
