Job summary
A recruitment agency in Canada is seeking a Pump Operator to assist with well servicing. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of oilfield experience and be able to operate pumping equipment safely. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks from handling equipment to monitoring well control parameters. The role may require working away from home for extended periods.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous oilfield experience.
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, ODA, CSO preferred.
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment and drug screen.
- Able to work away from home for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Operate pumping equipment to perform well servicing with coiled tubing units.
- Drive specialised well services equipment to and from location.
- Maintain equipment to above industry standards.
- Monitor well control parameters before and during job applications.

- Rig in and out
- Operate assigned equipment during treatment
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and correct them as necessary
- Perform general preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Maintain equipment to above industry standards
- Monitor well control parameters and calculations before and during job applications
- Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service, perform pre‑and post‑ job equipment inspections
- Blend or prepare chemicals for various job procedures
- Operate with a safety‑first mindset
- 2 years previous oilfield experience
