A prominent educational institution in the Niagara Region is seeking a Web & Digital Design Specialist. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the college's web presence, managing client relations, and ensuring accessible web design standards. Applications are invited for the position of Web & Digital Design Specialist in the Marketing Division, located at the Welland Campus. The starting hourly rate is $34.60/hr (Pay Band G - $34.60/hr to $39.93/hr) for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the successful candidate works as part of a broader marketing unit to assist in designing, implementing and maintaining Niagara College’s external branding and communications presence. The incumbent plays a key role in our marketing department, which functions as an in‑house marketing, graphic design and digital media service for the college, in the areas of marketing consultation and plan development, design services, social & digital media, photography & videography, print and web services, event planning and promotional materials.
This position is open to internal employees and external applicants. External applicants will not be reviewed until all eligible internal employees have been considered. The first consideration for internal employees shall be five (5) business days from the opening date. Internal employees are those classified as full-time permanent within the Full-Time Support Staff bargaining unit, regular part-time (RPT) employees who have completed probation, and Appendix D employees with six consecutive months of Appendix D service with the College at the time of posting.
