Job summary
A local brewery restaurant in Metro Vancouver seeks a skilled supervisor to manage food preparation and service activities. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school education and 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant setting. The role demands attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time and requires work at the physical location without remote options. Competitive hourly pay of $37 with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work location: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:
Tasks
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Prepare budget and cost estimates
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Prepare food order summaries for chef
Supervise and check assembly of trays
Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Establish work schedules
Supervision: Kitchen and food service helpers
Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Safe Food Handling certificate
