Materials Planner — SAP & Production Scheduling
Job summary
A biotechnology company in Alberta is seeking a Materials Planner to support production planning and control activities. Responsibilities include generating SAP work orders, tracking inventory, and coordinating with purchasing to ensure materials are available. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 2-5 years of experience in materials planning, and familiarity with ERP systems. This role offers an opportunity to impact health equity worldwide.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in materials planning, with multiple product lines preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain inventory levels and production schedules.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and project management.
Responsibilities
- Generate and process SAP work orders as per the production plan.
- Track, count and expedite all work in process.
- Interface with purchasing to ensure materials are sufficient.
