If you are a forward-thinker interested in fostering a dynamic and supportive environment, then keep reading! We are searching for a result-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant to join the GAL Manufacturing team at Vantage Elevation.

About Us

Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. Vantage is comprised of eight business units including GAL Manufacturing; GAL Canada; Hollister-Whitney; Elevator Controls; Courion; Bore-Max; Thames Valley Controls and Vertical Dimensions. Through its brands, Vantage supplies almost all electro-mechanical devices used in contemporary elevators. The Vantage Group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.

The Sales Administrative Assistant is to monitor and forward customer information to the required departments, answer emails, track orders, maintain electronic filing system, retrieve customer information and send follow-ups, perform general office duties, and perform additional administrative duties as required.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year related working experience.
  • Exceptional work ethic, time management, and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and analysis of information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to exercise creativity and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include :

  • Manage reception; including taking messages, handling general inquiriesand redirecting calls
  • Open technical support tickets for the engineering team
  • Track / order office and staff room supplies
  • Manage travel and accommodation for various departments
  • Coordinate internal / external company functions
  • Assist with preparing sales estimates, when required
  • Print out sales orders and submit to warehouse for processing
  • General customer support and other duties, as assigned
