Under the supervision of the HRIS Team Lead, the incumbent is responsible for managing projects related to Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), from needs analysis to implementation. He leads process optimization initiatives, supports change management, and provides training and user support.
As an HRIS Project Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Leading HRIS projects, including system integration, deployment of new functionalities, and upgrades to existing systems.
- Developing, planning, and tracking projects by defining objectives, required resources, and timelines.
- Ensuring effective coordination between internal and external teams to guarantee the smooth execution of projects.
- Reviewing and validating system requirement specifications (SRS) in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Negotiating pricing and contracts according to needs and budget, and ensuring follow-up on contractual commitments.
- Defining and implementing a change management strategy : identifying stakeholders, anticipating impacts, and defining a plan to ensure a smooth transition.
- Contributing to the development of the HRIS evolution strategy and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Analyzing existing processes and recommending optimizations to improve efficiency (e.g., recruitment, absence management, performance management, etc.).
- Documenting requirements upon receipt of requests, analyzing gaps between existing processes and defined needs, and developing project plans to close those gaps.
- Writing and maintaining procedure documentation to ensure processes are well understood and properly executed.
- Supporting the transition of projects to HRIS administrators and providing continued support after implementation.
- Assisting HRIS administrators as needed.
- Preparing appropriate communication materials.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating user guides and tools.
- Training users on new tools and procedures.
What makes you a great fit for our team
- You hold a bachelor's degree in administration, human resources management, or information technology, or a college diploma in administration.
- You have 5 or more years of experience in a similar role, enabling you to lead end-to-end HRIS projects effectively.
- You are highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, database management) and Power BI, which allows you to analyze and optimize HR processes with precision.
- You are familiar with or have experience using Dayforce – a significant asset in our environment.
- You demonstrate a strong service-oriented mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative team spirit.
- You must be able to travel to Québec city office occasionally (approximately once a month), based on team needs.
- You are fully bilingual in French and English, which enables you to work seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
