What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop an understanding of the educational, research, operational, and financial needs of corporate partners
- Collaborate with academic leaders to identify fundraising priorities and develop engagement strategies
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 corporate prospects, soliciting gifts of $100,000 or more
- Plan and coordinate strategic engagements for corporate prospects
- Maintain the prospect management database with donor strategies and results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7 years of successful major gift fundraising or related business development experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; travel required
