Job summary
A healthcare staffing company is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a short-term assignment in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you'll provide inpatient care and work in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ideal candidates will have a good standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, current BCLS certification, and acute care experience. Competitive rates of $80.00–$90.00 per hour are offered with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care as a Registered Nurse.
- Be flexible to work various shifts including weekends.

Skills
Education
Travel Registered Nurse Inpatient (Ontario) – Toronto, Canada. Independent professional setting.
- Provide inpatient nursing care as an Ontario-licensed Registered Nurse in a travel/short-term assignment.
- Be available for urgent/last-minute changes (2 hours prior notice) and flexible to work various shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) including weekends and statutory vacations.
- Work in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.
- Present registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Current BCLS certificate.
- Present N95 mask fit testing.
- Criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector) within the past year.
- Up-to-date immunization record including Covid-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses).
- Current medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
- Skilled in IV therapy.
- Physical Assessment course is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Flexible scheduling and competitive rates.
- Contract length: 3 months (full-time), with possibility of extension based on needs.
- Wage: $80.00–$90.00 per hour.
- Travel accommodations and incidentals related to the assignment.
- Note: Independent Contractor setting.
