Overview

Travel Registered Nurse Inpatient (Ontario) – Toronto, Canada. Independent professional setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient nursing care as an Ontario-licensed Registered Nurse in a travel/short-term assignment.
  • Be available for urgent/last-minute changes (2 hours prior notice) and flexible to work various shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) including weekends and statutory vacations.
  • Work in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.
Qualifications
  • Present registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Current BCLS certificate.
  • Present N95 mask fit testing.
  • Criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector) within the past year.
  • Up-to-date immunization record including Covid-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses).
  • Current medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Skilled in IV therapy.
  • Physical Assessment course is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
