A national healthcare provider is seeking a Band 6 Sister for a 6-month secondment in their Oncology Day Unit. The role involves leading a nursing team, coordinating complex treatment plans, and ensuring safe, effective care for paediatric patients. Applicants must be a registered nurse with relevant qualifications and experience in oncology. This part-time position operates on a 4-week rotation. Ward 14 at the Great North Children’s Hospital is offering an exciting 6‑month Band 6 Sister secondment to join our Oncology Day Unit.
Interview: Wednesday 14 January 2026.
Shifts: 11 × 9.5 hour shifts per 4‑week block.
Contract: 6‑month secondment. Part‑time on a 4‑week rotation.
