The Procurement Contract Specialist we are looking for will possess a combination of operational knowledge to assess value for money on non-material purchases and a practical approach to soliciting information, pricing, and overseeing contract establishment and performance monitoring.

Total Package: Worth up to €80k.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage RFI/Q/Ps and tenders for various CAPEX projects, contract renewals, and general spending such as facilities, services, and freight.
• Structure and maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL) for non-material purchases.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives that enhance site OPEX costs.
• Recommend the use of appropriate e-tendering and digital procurement tools for relevant contractual purchases.
• Offer commercial support to the buyer/purchasing functions and assist in negotiations for major spend projects.
• Lead major cross-functional projects on behalf of Operational Procurement.
• Contribute to continuous improvements across both indirect and direct supply chain requirements.
• Ensure contract compliance across all vendors for the site.

Your qualifications and experience:

• Level 8 qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Qualification in contract law or a strong understanding of it in an operational context.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, indirect procurement, or vendor negotiations.
• Experience in negotiating commercial contracts and tenders, including CAPEX and OPEX.

• Solid working knowledge of procurement tools, processes, KPIs, and reporting, including the use of digital tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to interact with and influence supplier behavior and manage escalations.
• Excellent communication, business writing, and presentation skills.
• Skilled negotiator with a broader understanding of the value of non-monetary terms.
