A leading retail company in Mount Royal is seeking a Production Manager for their Assembly Department. The role entails planning and organizing daily operations, analyzing performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement projects. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of management experience in a production environment. The position offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Distribution Center, the Production Manager (Assembly Department) plans and organizes daily operations, optimizes resources and processes, and maintains a safe, positive work environment.
The successful candidate will analyze performance indicators, drive continuous improvement projects, and uphold the company’s values and ethics in all aspects of the assembly department.
You will define priorities and allocate your team based on operational needs, monitor productivity, and take action on variances in resource costs and project progress to optimize budgets.
In addition, you’ll standardize procedures across shifts, lead safety and quality initiatives, and collaborate with other departments to implement continuous improvement strategies.
